Running Assessment.

Why get a running assessment?

Whatever your ability, running is a great form of exercise for long-term physical and mental health. In fact, recreational running has been shown to increase life expectancy and reduce the risk of over 35 chronic conditions (Booth 2012), including cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, dementia and many types of cancer.

The ability to remain injury free will greatly improve your enjoyment and longevity of running and allow you to access all the amazing health benefits that go with it. Running-related pain and injuries may be caused by many factors including technique, strength, flexibility, footwear and training load.

During a running assessment, we not only conduct a thorough video analysis of your running technique, but also assess your strength, flexibility and many other factors that may contribute to risk of injury.

After your assessment, you will receive a detailed report including key images, identified injury risk factors and key strategies to improve your technique and performance.
